My five chosen Catholic Themes....What do they mean to me?
I chose the five themes of Faith, Mystery, Wonder and Awe, Community and the Common Good, Dignity of Work and Service and Human Rights and Responsibilities within which to frame the work I have accomplished in this course. Each of my explanations can be found on the corresponding page along with a bilbical or catechesal reference which is meaningful to the theme (and to me!)
All of the works that I have posted in this portfolio could work in many or all of the themes, depending on ones' perspective - however, I chose to apply each piece of writing to one particular theme and that brief reasoning can be found beside the attachment.
While each of the Catholic Themes is integral to working as a Catholic school teacher, I chose a slightly different selection of the themes to use as I "passed the torch" to a newly "ordained" teacher.
